Emma Eckstein

Emma Eckstein, a native of Frontenac, Kansas, has been dancing for eleven years and continues to expand her expertise in the field. She trained at Y Academy of Dance and is currently a student at Pittsburg State University, where she is majoring in Finance and Management with a minor in Dance.

Emma has trained in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, tap, and ballet and is currently a member of the Pittsburg State University Dance Team. She began her teaching career as an assistant dance instructor for seven years before stepping into a lead instructor role at The
Alignment Project. She has worked with students ranging in age from three to seventeen and currently teaches dancers between six and twelve years old.

As a choreographer, Emma has created multiple advanced and intermediate solo routines, helping dancers refine their technique and stage presence. She is actively involved with the PSU Dance Team and continues to develop her skills as both a dancer and an instructor.
Outside of dance, Emma is an active member of Tri Sigma, where she holds multiple leadership positions, PSU Student Government Association, and the PSU Honors College. Emma enjoys engaging in activities that challenge her academically and creatively. She is passionate about dance education and looks forward to growing as both a performer and teacher while sharing her love of movement with students.
